Learning Targets:

  1. Interpret Biblical Metaphors of Sleep and Awakening. 2. Analyze the Concept of Inaugurated Eschatology. Learners will analyze the theological concept of “already and not yet” (inaugurated eschatology), describing how believers are called to live in spiritual awareness and transformation now, while also anticipating the future resurrection and renewal of all things.

  3. Describe the Role of Grace in Spiritual Awakening. Learners will describe how grace (charis) empowers individuals to become aware of and responsive to God, enabling a union of wills with God and fostering spiritual growth, as illustrated by Paul’s teachings in Ephesians and other New Testament writings.
